For most people approaching their retirement years, a financially relaxed and happy retirement is the dream they have worked so hard to achieve all their lives. Although retirement villages offering a high level of comfort and care have grown prolifically over the last few years this housing option is often difficult to attain.
At St Ann’s Living there are two types of Ownership.
- Strata Titled Homes where you own the house and land. You have title to the land with your home. With this option there are only 2-bedroom homes available.
- Land Lease is where you own the home but lease the land. One of the reasons that this style of ownership is very popular now is homes at St Ann’s Living we separate the ownership of the land from the ownership of the home. In this way you are not paying for ownership of the land, which frees up money to do other things. When you buy a home at St Ann’s Living’s Land Lease you enter into a secure lease of 10 years plus 4 options for a further 39 years on the land on which your home is situated, and your lease is paid via a site fee each fortnight. The secure lease gives you an exclusive right to occupy the land and to use and enjoy the spectacular facilities.
St Ann’s Living have set a new standard in affordable Senior Living for Tasmania and will continue to develop new and exciting concepts for this market.
